At this important corner in Vermont’s history where an existing barn style structure stood, a Manor House Style Retail Space expanded and revived interest.
A hillside was blasted away so the retail shop could be expanded. The original program was to design a strip mall against the blasted hillside at the corner of Routes 4 and 100. Architect Daniel Pratt felt the ordinariness of a strip mall prominently featured at of one of the most important corners in Vermont was unremarkable so he designed a Manor House Retail Shop that attached to the existing barn. With the main parking now shifted away from the main road in the master plan, Daniel left enough parking spaces in the front to show shopping activity.Contact RCWA to Discuss Your Project
