Congregational Church
The entry to this church lead directly off the large main parking lot with no airlock or cover to protect families from the elements Vermont winters deliver. Many decades passed with blasts of cold air pouring into the church chilling the congregation while an aging boiler struggled to keep up. The inefficiencies from a lack of an airlock or a protected entryway were ended by the addition of a timber frame and brick entry. Although the project is small, RCWA architects derive a sense of purpose and pleasure from serving our community.
